Accommodations

Our host hotel, and the site of the retreat, is the truly glamorous Hyatt Regency San Francisco Airport. (Click on the name to go to the hotel's website.)

The Hyatt Regency provides many amenities for hotel guests, including wireless Internet connectivity, a heated outdoor pool and whirlpool, and a state of the art fitness center. The hotel is across the street from a cinema and is also an easy train ride from the best of San Francisco dining, shopping, and live theatre. In addition, the city of Burlingame provides a free trolley service between the downtown area and the hotel.

We have obtained the astoundingly reasonable room rate of $139 plus tax per night double or single occupancy (triple $164, quadruple $189). Parking is $18 per day. (Short-term rates are $2.00 for the first hour and $1.50 per hour thereafter with a max of $18 per day.) Please mention the Hooked On Wire retreat when making your reservations.

Important: You must book your room by September 4th to receive the special conference rate.

Travel

Through its two major airports, San Francisco International and Oakland International, San Francisco is served by all the major airlines and by several commuter airlines. (The Oakland airport also serves as an Amtrak hub.)

Note: If your preferred carrier has flights to both airports, it is easier to fly into San Francisco as the host hotel provides a 24-hour complimentary shuttle service to and from the San Francisco airport.
